Environmental Training courses incorporate recognised experts in certain fields where appropriate and are carefully designed for the level of delegate.  The training courses are interactive and contain several practical exercises to ensure full participation. The majority of difficulties associated with change in organizations (innovation, review, implementation of management systems, transition to sustainability etc) are related to communication, understanding, information dissemination and attitude. These challenges can be significantly reduced by the roll out of an appropriate training programme.

The Essence of EIA for Practitioners (1 Day course)

This 1 day course will provide a practical overview of the application of the EIA regulations and the legislation which drives them. Training will be given on the appropriate approach to the EIA process, using specific examples and exercises to reinforce the learning experience. The course presenter has 20 years of EIA experience. EIA for Industry (1 Day course)

This 1 day course aims to provide industry employees (SHEQ managers, HSE managers etc) with enough information to enable them to recognize when they should apply environmental legislation within their business. They will be guided on when they may need to undertake an EIA process and why, how to look for an appropriate consultant, what to expect from the process, what information will be required, the timeframes and likely costs and how to review the report once it has been produced. Real World EIA (3 Day course)

This course will run over 3 days, it will deal with the practical application of the basic assessment and EIA regulations. The course includes a description of EIA triggers, and an overview of all applicable legislation as well as authority requirements. It is aimed at practitioners who have some experience but would benefit from the insights offered by someone with over 20 years experience in the industry. The legal section will be presented by a qualified and experienced environmental lawyer. Issues relating to managing sub consultants, incorporating specialist reports and dealing with clients will all be covered in the course. Practical exercises will reinforce the learning experience.

SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING
